This retreat was created for those who give a lot, hold a lot, and rarely have a moment to truly exhale.
When the nervous system settles, clarity returns. The body speaks. Our inner guidance becomes steady, wise, and unmistakable. In this slower rhythm, we naturally gravitate toward what nourishes us—and gently step away from what drains us.

Nestled in a peaceful eco farm surrounded by flower gardens, vegetable beds, and quiet forest paths, this retreat offers a rare opportunity to slow down and reconnect. With a yoga deck overlooking nature, cozy hideaways to curl up in, and a distant view of the ocean, this space invites deep rest from the moment you arrive.
At night, you’ll fall asleep to the soft sounds of crickets, the whisper of the ocean, and a sky filled with stars. By day, you’re just a 20-minute walk from Arrifana Beach—perfect for surfing, lingering in a café, or wandering along the shoreline.
Here, time moves differently. The rustling trees, birdsong, and fresh ocean air create a natural rhythm that helps your whole system soften. Wake with the sunrise, unwind with the sunset, and let nature guide your nervous system back into balance.

Our large farmhouse with a private entrance is perfectly made for a group of friends, solo travellers or couples. It accommodates two bedrooms, one spacious bathroom, a cozy living room with a wood stove, a diningroom, kitchen, a beautiful patio with barbecue.

Through somatic practices, gentle yoga, and Reiki healing, you’ll learn to tune into your inner signals with kindness and curiosity—rather than pressure or judgment. You’ll receive practical tools and somatic strategies that help you build resilience, stay grounded in stressful moments, and nurture yourself with greater compassion in daily life. Set within the expansive Costa Vicentina Natural Park, you’ll be held by the wild beauty of the Atlantic coastline, quiet landscapes, and fresh ocean air. The schedule is spacious and unhurried, supporting a naturally balanced nervous system rather than overwhelming it. You’ll have time to explore the area through hikes, surf sessions, bike rides, or simply resting in stillness.
Silent moments are woven gently throughout the week—not as a challenge, but as a gift. These pockets of quiet allow you to meet yourself more deeply, reconnect with your intuition, and absorb the experience at your own pace.

Retreat Schedule
Our days include practices to soothe the nervous system, release stress, and build resilience. Through somatic explorations, Hatha-Vinyasa & somatic yoga, Reiki, sound healing, and Qi-Gong, we cultivate presence, safety, and inner connection. Guided by Heidi and Christina, with trauma-sensitive care and deep experience, this journey focuses on listening—to the body, breath, nervous system, and nature. We emphasize gentle arrival, time to feel at home, and mindful integration to extend the benefits into daily life. Participants are encouraged to arrive a day early and allow space after the retreat for smooth transition and healing.

Nourishment
Throughout the retreat, participants will be supported by wholesome Ayurvedic-inspired vegetarian meals prepared with care. Food is part of the practice – grounding, balancing, and deeply nourishing.
Our retreat chef, Barbara, has worked at many retreats, and she brings with her knowledge and expertise in many different cooking styles, including Ayurvedic, Italian, and home baking. She will provide warm and nourishing food for the cooler months here in Portugal.
We also source local and natural ingredients and shop where we can at the local farmers market. Barbara makes her own bread and cakes, and we will also provide nourishing gluten-free options as well.

Christina Winzeler - Yoga Teacher & Bodyworker
Christina comes from a background in psychiatric and clinical settings. With this and the combination of 6 years yoga teaching, enables her to hold group spaces with a strong sense of safety and presence. In her work as a bodyworker and yoga teacher, she is deeply committed to guiding you back to your inner voice, your body awareness, and your inner strength.
Christina creates mindful and trauma-sensitive spaces in her yoga offerings — whether in group classes, one-on-one sessions, or retreat settings. Her focus is always on exploring your inner world through the body (somatic work) — grounded and embodied rather than overly spiritual or concept-driven (a bottom-up approach instead of a purely rational one).
In the “Deep Rest” retreat, she will share yoga practices, guided meditations, and valuable insights about the nervous system and integration.
